MIND RIVERVIEW CENTER NOW OPEN, DELIVERING EXPERT NEUROLOGICAL CARE TO THE DOWNRIVER AREA

On June 26, 2025, the Michigan Institute for Neurological Disorders (MIND) held a ribbon cutting for its new Riverview Center, further expanding access to comprehensive neurological care for the Downriver community. The nearly 6,500-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to diagnosing, treating, and managing neurological disorders affecting the brain, spine, and nervous system.

  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Alzheimer’s Disease and Memory Disorders
  • Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders
  • Headache/Facial Pain/Migraine
  • Interventional Pain Management
  • Infusion Services

Located at 14750 King Road in Riverview, the center offers advanced neurodiagnostics (EEG, EMG), on-site pain management procedures, and soon, infusion services staffed by experienced nurses. Patient care is supported by a specialized team of neurologists and advanced practice providers, all working collaboratively in thoughtfully designed care pods that support real-time communication and patient comfort.

With the rapidly increasing number of aging baby boomers, there is a significant rise in neurological problems and a need for prompt, convenient, specialized neurological care,” said Dr. Jonathan Doty, MIND MS-fellowship-trained neurologist. “The opening of the MIND Riverview Center supports our ‘closer to home care’ philosophy as we recognize that travel distance can be a serious barrier to care for people with chronic neurologic conditions. Early diagnosis and treatment can greatly improve outcomes and quality of life for patients.”

MIND CEO Dan Badgley added, “Meeting this challenge requires innovation, collaboration, and a strong commitment to expanding access to specialized neurological care in the Downriver community. As Michigan’s leading neurology practice, our team combines top specialists, advanced diagnostics, and ongoing research to provide the highest level of care for every patient.”
